This program officer will provide technical assistance to Community Development
Corporations in accessing LISC loan funds and will manage Greater Miami LISC's loan
portfolio and its reporting and lending relationships.
Responsibilities:
Provide technical leadership for the investment lending program of LISC in Greater
Miami.
Provide technical assistance to CDCs seeking access to LISC loan funds for real
estate development projects, including affordable housing and commercial and community
facilities.
Provide oversight and management of consultants providing real estate development
training and services.
Serve as a liaison to various public and private investors providing grant and loan
funds to CDCs.
Program Officer provides primary staff support for the Greater Miami LISC credit
committee.
Program Officer reports to the Program Director and will work closely with the Local
Advisory Committee.
Qualifications:
Community Development Lending Experience.
Relevant experience in residential and/or commercial real estate development.
Bachelors Degree in related field. Graduate degree in urban planning, real estate
development, public administration, business administration or other related field
is desirable.
Excellent oral and written communications skills.
Required computer skills: work processing (word); spreadsheet (excel). Experience
in working with computer spreadsheets to analyze financial transactions and conditions
and project feasibility.
Previous experience in program development and technical assistance delivery. Experience
in working with a variety of community, public and private sector actors to design
and implement neighborhood revitalization programs.

Compensation:
Salary will be based upon qualifications. LISC provides competitive compensation
