We provide you with grants for improvements on your building such as: Paint Signs Awnings Store Fronts Shutters The Allapattah Business Development Authority, Inc. (ABDA) in conjunction with the City of Miami Department of Community Development presents this program in order to encourage and facilitate local merchants ways to upgrade the physical appearance of commercial frontage in the Allapattah area, and thereby making Allapattah a more attractive place to live, work and shop. WHO CAN PARTICIPATE? All businesses licensed by the City of Miami and located in the Allapattah area that have not participated in the program in the last four (4) years. Exceptions: Bars, lounges, gambling establishments, not for profit entities and religious institutions. WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO TO PARTICIPATE? You need to call our office at (305) 635-3561 and an agency representative will visit your business and explain the program to you in more detail. If you are interested in participating, a letter of interest will be prepared and submitted to the City of Miami Allapattah (Net) Neighborhood Enhancement Team Office for their approval. WHAT NUMBERS SHOULD I CALL? You should call the Allapattah Business Development Authority at (305) 635-3561 during normal business hours or come visit us at 2634 NW 21st.
