For the purpose of expanding the support services to our families and the community at large, LHHA's growth will include partnerships with other organizations who also have a vested interest in assisting Little Haiti.

 The Little Haiti-Edison Federal Credit Union is one project LHHA is partnering with that will meet the financial and credit needs of residents. The mission of the Little Haiti-Edison Credit Union is: To establish effective community development banking while fulfilling the three primary responsibilities of banks - to protect deposits, to earn a reasonable return on invested capital, and by recycling the savings of the community, contribute to its economic growth and vitality.

The formation of the Little Haiti Development Corporation (LHDC) will involve many agencies in Little Haiti. There have been many efforts to organize various social service agencies and other community-based organizations to provide a more unified effort in the delivery of services to the residents of Little Haiti. LHDC would provide the two types of agencies serving the Little Haiti community - the social service agencies and the community development corporations - with the means to integrate, strengthen and coordinate their services. Agency members would be limited to organizations who are financially sound and have a proven track record of achievements.

LHHA is also developing a Comprehensive Economic Development Program to compliment its housing and other community building efforts. This will be a two-tracked effort with the creation of the Little Haiti Small Business Development Center (LHSBDC). LHHA has developed a network of partners for additional support and assistance in the development and implementation of this project.
